Yoeri Deckers

Yoeri Deckers graduated with a law degree from the KU Leuven (1996), and subsequently obtained a DEA in private law from the Université Montpellier (1997).

Since 1997, he has been registered as a lawyer at the Bar of Leuven and is a partner in the law firm Legrand Advocaten.

He deals with matters such as construction law, public procurement, real estate, liability law, insurance law, contract law, energy law, and corporate law.

Yoeri currently serves as President (Dean) of the Leuven Bar Association, following many years of experience as a member of the Bar Council. He is also a delegate to the General Assembly of the Order of Flemish Bars (OVB) and serves on the OVB’s Deontology and Collective Services Committees. In addition, he is a member of the Belgian Association of Insurance Lawyers and the Belgian Society for Construction Law.

His language knowledge includes Dutch, French and English.
